We smoke over Texas Post Oak, low and slow. BBQ is about patience.
Our brisket is from McClaren Farms, right here in Texas. "Fresh daily" means we could sell out of certain items daily. Please call us to confirm if any items are sold out before you arrive.

I would 100% recommend Sideways! We went on a Sunday afternoon where they have live music and good barbecue. The place wasn't too packed. It's an indoor/outdoor spot on the lake and with fantastic service and food! I highly recommend the loaded fries, cowboy caboodle, brisket, sausage, smoked cream corn, fried okra, Mac and cheese! It was all Fantastic!
This is a fun spot right off the lake at the Harbor in Rockwall. Great options for food, with smoked bbq, fried ribs, salads and southern style deserts. The portion sizes are massive so com hungry! Interesting menu item: Cowboy Caboodle- every smoked meat, macaroni and corn, wrapped and fried in an egg roll, and comes with a unique bbq ranch dip..
We were here the other day and everything was delicious. Had the two meat plate and we couldn't eat it all. The staff was very friendly and quick to refill drinks etc. This is the second time we've been here and have been impressed both times. If you are in the mood for BBQ you should definitely check them out.
I actually just stopped in for a beer while traveling knowing nothing of this place. Disclaimer, I'm a bbq connoisseur out of the countries bbq capital - Austin. So I tried and devoured a 1/2 LB of brisket. Among the best I've hand...anywhere. Otherwise, super cool ambiance, scenery and friendly service. Fun place and GREAT bbq. Well done.
Great atmosphere! The food was great. The meat was cooked to perfection with a good amount of seasoning and was not dry. I wasn't a fan of the Mac n cheese. The most impressive part is how friendly and helpful the staff was. I would definitely recommended this place if you are looking for good Bar-b-que and live music for a night out.
